Welcome to the ArtExchange
The ArtExchange is an innovative visual arts center opening in 2011 in the East Village Arts District in Downtown Long Beach. Creative programming, artist studios, galleries and special events will define the ArtExchange as a unique place to experience art.
This innovative center developed through a public-private partnership with the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency, will enrich the community in several ways. The programs will provide opportunities for children, youth and adults to directly engage in the arts. Resident artists will enliven the center with their creative work and allow the public to experience art as it is created. Galleries will host local as well as nationally and internationally recognized artists. Programs for artists will help them promote and develop their work. All of this activity will attract area residents and visitors to the Downtown area, creating synergy for local businesses and showcasing the art scene in Long Beach.
